Sign Up As A Pro
NexGen Taxes introduces you to customers looking to prepare taxes. When you sign up, select your service options, create a profile page, where customers go to learn about your business, see photos of your work, and read reviews.
How to Sign Up
Signup to NexGen Platform is easy and simple, Go to Vendor.NexGenTaxes.com and register as a Pro. Be prepared to answer questions about yourself, your business, and the services you offer.
Background Check
Finding a pro they can trust is at the top of every customer’s to-do list when starting a new project. And background checks build that trust and confidence when hiring.
Background checks are free and it ensures the safety of everybody. It is easy to take, and we handle everything for you. You are required to provide valid government-issued photo identification, maintain an active Tax Preparer, CPA license or EA designation, a PTIN that is current for the relevant filing period, and an EFIN that is under their name or that of their practice. As part of the verification process, we make sure your PTIN number, EFIN number, and other credentials that you have provided during the onboarding process are valid.
As a Pro, you are responsible for maintaining the CPE credits and you need to keep the license current. Each Tax Pro must renew their EFIN and PTIN for the active season to be considered to receive leads in the platform.
It is recommended that each Tax Pro obtain Errors & Omissions (‘E&O’) insurance to protect against liability in the event of a dispute.

Before you sign up and get started with NexGen Platform, it’s required that you review, agree, and abide by the terms set forth in NexGen Taxes's Terms of Use document. The terms of use can be accessed at the support and knowledge base section of the portal all the time. In the event there are changes and updates to our Terms of Use, you may be required to accept the modified Terms of Use before continuing to use the portal. NexGen Taxes reserves the right to make changes to Terms Of Use at its absolute discretion.
